In an exclusive report by Pinkvilla, Ratheesh Reghunandan’s Malayalam movie Udal starring Dhyan Sreenivasan alongside Durga Krishna and Indrans is being remade in Hindi. And the makers have roped in Naseeruddin Shah to play the lead role, which will be helmed by director Ratheesh Reghunandan himself and produced by Gokulam Gopalan.
Shah will be essaying the character portrayed by veteran actor Indrans, who played the role of a visually-impaired man in the engaging revenge thriller. According to the report, the makers are working on the pre-production of the film.
‘Udal’ was theatrically released on May 20 this year and received several positive responses from the audience who even called the Dhyan Sreenivasan starrer ‘The sleeper hit of this year’.
