University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for awarding Scholarships under different schemes. Details of the scholarship, which is been awarded to Post Graduate Students, under various schemes, can be availed in the website, www.scholarships.gov.in. The ‘PG’ Scholarship for Professional Studies for SC/ST (PGSPROF), is been awarded to SC/ST students undergoing post graduate studies in various streams.
The Post Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child (SGC), on the other hand is been awarded to single girl child, who is undergoing fulltime Master’s Degree course in any recognized University across India. The Post Graduate Scholarship for University Rank Holders (URH), is meant for First/Second Rank holders at undergraduate level. Last date to apply for the scholarship, is February 15.
