Pathanamthitta: The first service of AC low floor bus launched by KSRTC to cut the controversy Robin bus is a big hit. The AC low floor service running Pathanamthitta – Coimbatore service got good revenue on the first day.
The return service of the low floor AC bus from Pathanamthitta to Coimbatore today is full of passengers. The bus will return to Pathanamthitta by night.
KSRTC has launched a special Coimbatore service as an alternative to the controversial Robin Bus.

Passengers also welcomed the bus which started service from Pathanamthitta half an hour earlier on the same route as Rob’s.
The Robin bus leaves at five o’clock. But the KSRTC low floor bus left half an hour earlier at 4.30.
But initially the bus service was started from Pathanamthitta empty without passengers, but later the bus started getting passengers.
KSRTC AC bus ticket price for Pathanamthitta Coimbatore service is Rs 659. 650 for a non-AC Robin bus. Meanwhile, KSRTC clarified that the news that Pathanamthitta – Coimbatore service is without a permit is false.
KSRTC’s No. KL15 A 0909 low floor AC bus has taken interstate permit upto 15/07/2028. KSRTC through its official Facebook page stated that the permit was issued by Kerala RTA and countersigned by Tamil Nadu State RTA and stage carriage permit as per all procedures and rules.
