Director Deekay confriemd that his long awaited film ‘Katteri’ will hit a popular OTT platform. The film, which stars Vaibhav, Karunakaran, Sonam Bajwa, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Aathmika in the pivotal roles, has already completed the shooting a year ago. ‘Katteri’ features Sonam Bajwa paired opposite Vaibhav, while the rest of the heroines too have received meaty roles. That said, makers were unable to release the project, due to certain reasons. However, with the makers reaching in on an agreement with an OTT platform, it is certain that the film would finally make it to the audience.
Touted to be an action entertainer, ‘Katteri’, according to the makers, is filled with loads of comedy as well. It must be said that Tamil Cinema, though wasn’t really fast enough to brace OTT platforms, compared to Bollywood, however has decided to shift the focus to OTT. ‘Katteri’ is the latest entrant to the list of Tamil films that have decided to hit OTT platforms. Produced by Studio Green, ‘Katteri’ features the music by SN Prasad. Deekay, is known for directing films such as ‘Yaamirukka Bayamey’ and ‘Kavalai Vendaam’.
