Piaggio India launched its Vespa RED Scooter. Coming at a price tag of INR 87,009, the model is a special edition scooter, based on the standard Vespa 125 scooter. By launching the scooter in collaboration with RED, company officials informed that approximately INR 3,277 from the total vehicle, would be donated to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in India. Justifying its theme, the scooter sports a RED chrome badging on the front apron.
Talking about the technical aspects, a 125cc ingle cylinder air cooled engine powers the Vespa VX is. Capable of developing 10.06bhp of power at 7500 rpm, riders would be offered smooth riding, as the power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a CVT transmission.
