Veteran Malayalam actor Kochu Preman passed away on Saturday in Thiruvananthapuram. He was 68. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the capital city.
KS Premkumar acted in more than 250 films. He has worked in drama troupes such as Kalidasa Kalakendram, Kerala Theaters, and Sanghachethana. In 1996, he debuted in the Malayalam film Dilliwala Rajakumaran. He adapted the stage name Kochu Preman because he believed that the name suits his short stature.
He is survived by his wife and actress Girija Premkumar and son P.G. Harikrishnan.
His last movie was ‘Oru Pappadavada Premam’ released in 2021.
