Thalapathy Vijay is having the greatest run of his lifetime now. Well, arguably, he is having the best run, if he is to be compared with stars of similar stature in Tamil cinema. Back to back blockbusters have made Vijay the favorite child of both producers and distributors in Tamil cinema. However, one of the comments made by his ex PRO – PT Selvakumar – has given way for a controversy in Kollywood. While giving interview to a channel, he commented that the position of Vijay in current Tamil cinema was way ahead of those of Rajinikanth’s and Ajith’s.
The comment however, hasn’t gone well with the fans of Superstar and Thala. And in an attempt to end the controversies, Vijay himself has made it to the center. Turning down the comments of PT Selvakumar, Thalapathy has maintained that his ex PRO has got no connection with his official fan club; his comments cannot be considered official in any sense. Selvakumar, who was also the producer of Vijay’s ‘Puli’ had gone onto make several controversial comments that the competition was between the Superstar and Thala, since Thalapathy has gone beyond the reach of both.
