Director Vinayan has, always been there in the media as a rebel figure. For the most part of the millennium, his rebellious image stood intact. Well, now, he has found an inroad to the acceptance among the mainstream line of Malayalam cinema. He has recently come up with a facebook post, in which he discussed about his dream project – Nangeli. The movie, according to Vinayan, would deal with the situation of Kerala in the 19th century, where women were not allowed to cover their bosoms.
Expressing his wish to begin the shooting of the project in 2019 itself, Vinayan has gone onto comment that the movie would star a prominent leading actor from Malayalam to essay the role of revolutionary Velayudha Panicker. By sharing a poster designed by Sethu Shivanandan, Vinayan made it clear that the movie would have some top names associated with it.
