MUMBAI: After Facebook and Silver Lake, another company is investing crores of rupees in Jeo platform. Vista Equity Partners, a US-based private equity firm, is investing Rs. 11,367 crore. Vista will get 2.32 percent ownership in the Jio platform.
The stock market value of Jio platform will go up to Rs 4.91 lakh crore with this investment. In just three weeks, Jio platform raised Rs 60,596.37 crore from investors. Vista is investing in an Indian company for the first time. Vista has a good track record of investing in technology companies. If you look at the previous 10-year history, all the investments in the company have been huge success.
Earlier, Facebook had spent $ 570 billion to buy a 9.99% stake in Jio. Followed by US private equity firm Silver Lake was invested Rs. 5,655.75 crore in Jio.
