Vivo has launched its latest outing before the Indian market – Y53i. The launching was made on a low key note. Priced at INR 7,990, Vivo Y53i is INR 2,000 lower than that of the price of Vivo Y53. Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based FunTouch OS 3.0, the device sports a 5 inch QHD IPS display. The device is powered by a 1.4GHz quad – core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. While there is an on-board 16GB storage available with the smartphone, it comes with 2GB RAM. The rear camera has got an 8MP sensor with LED flash; on the other hand, the front camera sports a 5MP sensor.
Having a 2,500mAh battery inside the dock, Vivo Y53i will go up against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 5.
