The Woman in Cinema Collective (WCC) has come forward wielding its support to Shamna Kasim over the recent controversy. The organization heaped Shamna with praises for her daring move, which has exposed the extent of crime present in the society. While taking the social media space, WCC also maintained that the government should pay attention to the Hema Commission report. They also raised the demand for a Special Tribunal in this context.
Urging the government to take immediate action regarding this, the WCC social media post praised Shamna for taking legal actions against those who tried to cheat her. It was the timely intervention made by Shamna and family, which helped police catch the perpetrators. With Shamna’s complaint hitting headlines, police has started receiving several other complaints from various corners of the society.
Several young girls, who primarily work in the modeling field, have come forward registering their complaint. This also prompted police officials to lead the investigation that caught a group of fraudsters, some of whom also works in the film field as well.
