Congress leader Sam Pithroda resigned as Indian Overseas Congress chairman on Wednesday over his racist remarks. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that Pitroda's decision was accepted by party president Mallikarjun Kharge. Sam Pithroda has decided to resign as the chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress. Ramesh said in his post that the Congress president has accepted his decision.
