The reports coming from Megastar Mammootty starrer ‘Mamankam’ are not something that could find an appeal amongst the movie buffs. Earlier, we heard reports of young actor Dhruv being sacked out from the team. While acknowledging the removal, Dhruv however was seen unable to crack the reason for his exit. Director Sajeev Pillai too expressed his amusement over removing Dhruv from the project, and has gone onto comment that the ‘Queen’ actor had done a commendable job till then.
That said, makers of this Mammootty starrer are heard to have decided to change the director from the board. Though we don’t have a sound source to back this point, it is been rumoured that director Sajeev Pillai would no longer be associated with ‘Mamankam’. In that case, makers would have to reshoot all that he had done during the first schedule, which had reportedly costed over INR 14 Cr. Since the director himself has penned the script for project, it must be seen whether ‘Mamankam’ would continue with the same script or not.
