In Vietnam, the Indian man swallowed a live fish through the anus. After the tests including X-ray found the eel in the young man’s stomach, the doctors thought that it could be taken out through the anus. But another object was found in the anus to miscalculate them. It was a lemon that ‘got in the way’. Then the team of doctors came to the decision to perform emergency surgery.
Doctors surgically removed the 25-inch-long, four-inch-wide eel from the young man’s esophagus, along with a lemon. The fish was pulled out alive. According to the New York Post, the young man also underwent a colostomy following the injury.
