Facebook owned WhatsApp has informed the media that their monthly active users (MAUs) figure has crossed 1.5 billion. The data further revealed that over 60 billion messages are being sent daily on the platform of WhatsApp. It was while announcing the fourth quarter results, which Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed the data. The report further claimed that followed by yet another Facebook owned ‘Instagram’, ‘WhatsApp’ has become the most popular Story sharing product.
The Story/Status in Instagram/WhatsApp are been used by more than 300 million daily active users (DAUs). On the other hand, another popular platform Snapchat has got 178 million daily active users.
