WhasApp is all set to put an end to some of the existing Smartphones, owing to various reasons. The Facebook owned messaging app will shut operations for ‘Blackberry OS’, ‘BlackBerry 10’, ‘Windows Phone 8.0’ and other older platforms. WhatsApp officials informed that they will no longer be actively developing for the above mentioned platforms; they pointed out the lack of efficiency, which these platforms exhibited in order to meet WhatsApp’s features for the future.
The company is going to exit from all those mobile users, who still stick with their older devices; devices, which come under the radar are older versions than Android OS 4.0 and iOS 7.
