The actor said that he was approached by the activists of Vanambadi after watching the Telugu serial Koyilamma. Sai Kiran says that he will be half-dead by the time Vanambadi is over. Like acting, I love music and snake biting. Sai says that Anumol and Tamburu in the serial are like his own children. Sai says he has been catching snakes for 21 years and was a member of the Friends of Nature Society in Hyderabad during his college days.
