“Mutual serial was a huge success. A lot of people recognized me through it. People still call me Deepti IPS when they see me.
All the messages I receive on Facebook and Instagram are addressed as Deepti IPS. That character was so popular.
But I have not acted in any of the serials since then. Even though a lot of offers came later, none of them were core characters like Deepti IPS.
All the offers that came in were the characters we met regularly. All were characters who exhibited a brilliant IPS bias. That is why I later became inactive in the serial industry, ”said Gayatri Arun.
Gayatri Arun plays a major role in Mammootty starrer One. Gayatri Arun has also acted in Malayalam films like Sarvopari Palakkaran, Thrissur Pooram and Orma.
