Wikipedia has got a new feature, which would ease the browsing experience. The Wikimedia Foundation has unveiled the ‘page preview’ feature and allows exploring the related topics, without leaving the current page. While the feature displays the first few sentences of the article, it certainly helps users to determine whether the article was relevant to the main page, or not. However, the latest feature has markedly decreased the number of page views in Wikipedia. In reacting to the issue, Wikimedia Foundations said that, the feature would deliver free knowledge to users on a better fashion.
Commenting on the latest feature in their blog post, Wikimedia Foundations maintained that the new feature would make the site more useful, relevant and engaging for users.
