The samples of a woman, who got died on July 5th in Thrissur, have turned positive. A native of Arimboor, Valsala (63) collapsed to death and had shown no signs of the disease. Her Truenat test results have come negative earlier. However, the samples, which were taken as part of postmortem, were sent for testing. The results however came only today, and it showed that she was affected by Covid.
With the test results becoming positive, Medical Board has asked 10 people from Thrissur Medical College to go quarantine, including the doctor, who performed the postmortem in Thrissur Medical College. Apart from them, those who attended the cremation of the woman, too were asked to go quarantine. Everyone should have to undergo a mandatory quarantine period, up to July 21st.
