Sirin Labs has unveiled the world’s first Blockchain powered smartphone – Finney. The Sirin Finney comes with a 6 inch display, while the aspect ratio stands at 18:9. The device has been priced at $999 by the Switzerland based startup. The amount, if converted to the Indian standards, becomes INR 67,300. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, Sirin Finney comes with a RAM/ROM combination of 6GB/128GB. The device runs of Android 8.1.
While there is a 12MP sensor, which powers the selfie shooter, the back camera is comprised of an 8MP sensor. Supporting a number of major cryptocurrencies, the smartphone is designed to undertake digital currency transactions with no fee. The smartphone is capable of automatically converting tokens for the use of decentralized applications. The device is available for pre order at the company website, with a 10 percent discount.
