General Education Additional Director Jessy Joseph has made a public announcement regarding the usage of writing boards during SSLC examinations. According to the latest announcement, writing boards, which bear nothing written on it, would be permissible in the examination hall. According present system, acceptance for using writing boards, was given according to the decision of invigilators.
Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (KeSCPCR) went onto receive a number of complaints on this regard. Subsequently, the commission asked about the opinion of General Education Board on this stance. It was after this, which the Education Board has come up with a positive verdict for usage of righting boards in SSLC examination.
