Airtel’s Over The Top (OTT) music application, Wynk has crossed 75 M download count. Launched in 2015, Wynk Music has got a collection of over 3 million songs across 12 Indian regional languages. Speaking about the reach of Wynk Music, company CEO Sameer Batra maintained that Bollywood songs accounted for the most traffic in the app.
That said, regional music content too has got its share. Amongst the regional music content, it is the following languages, which rule to roast – Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Punjabi. Regional music streaming has also met with a 100 percent grow over the last year.
