Wholly owned by Xiaomi, Yeelight has launched a new product in China – Yeelight Voice Assistant Speaker. Carrying similarities with that of Amazon Echo Dot speaker, the Yeelight Voice Assistant is been priced at 199 Yuan – approximately INR 1950. It features four buttons on the top and one at the centre to carry out functions. Reportedly, the Yeelight Smart Speaker is powered by Microsoft’s Cortana Voice Assistant.
Along with the device, comes 6 microphones as well as a single 2 Watt speaker. The 1.2GHz Cortex A53 quad core processor is mated with a 256MB RAM, while there is a flash storage space of 256MB. It is not known when Yeelight is coming with an international launch for Yeelight Voice Assistant Smart Speaker.
