Xiaomi has finally launched the much buzzed Redmi S2 smartphone in Chinese market. Having two variants according to the RAM/ROM combination, the Xiaomi Redmi S2 is been priced at CNY 999 for the 3GB/32GB variant. On the other hand, it costs around CNY 1,299 for the 4GB/64GB version. Sporting a 5.99 inch HD+ display, Redmi S2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC.
Touted to be the best selfie camera in the ‘Redmi’ series, S2 comes with a 16MP sensor on front side. Along with it comes, a 2 micron pixels and AI based beautification options. There is also a dual camera setup on the rear side, with a combination of 12MP and 5MP sensors. The device sports a 3080mAh battery inside the dock.
