Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its best selfie smartphone – Redmi S2. The selfie centric smartphone, according to the reports, will hit the Indian markets on June 7th. Reports also suggest that the device might be part of the Y series in India. That said, chances are open for Redmi S2 to make its presence felt in the Indian markets, dubbed as Redmi Y2.
Already launched in China, Redmi S2 is been priced at Yuan 999. The amount would make up to INR 10,000 in Indian standards. The device sports a 16MP selfie shooter, which comes with an AI driven portrait mode and face recognition feature. There is a combination of dual camera on the rear side – with 12MP and 5MP sensor values. Having a 5.99 inch HD+ resolution, it has got an aspect ratio of 18:9. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, the device comes in two variants – 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB.
