With the Indian launch is on the anvil, the specifications of Xiaomi Redmi Y2 have made its presence felt on Geekbench. All set to be launched in India on June 7th, Xiaomi Redmi Y2 is going to be powered by an octa core Snapdragon 625 SoC, which would clock a speed of a 2GHz. The Geekbench list suggests that Redmi Y2, would be running on MIUI 9 OS, which is based on Android 8.1.
There would be two variants of Xiaomi Redmi Y2 based on the RAM/ROM combination – 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. Redmi Y2 is widely believed to be the same Redmi S2, which got launched in China recently.
