Led by the student wings of the opposition parties, multiple marches took place in the state today. Reprising of what happened yesterday, KSU and Yuva Morcha activists led protesting marches ended up in a violet manner. In Kollam, KSU activists led a protesting march to the District Collectorate and when they tried to break the barricade, police used force to get them back from the scene. Subsequently, police fired water cannons to disperse the protesters.
In Pathanamthitta, the protest was led by Yuva Morcha activists and resulted in a marked conflict between the protesters and police force. Similar was the condition of the march, which took place in Kozhikode, where the march was led by BJP. The protest led to the office of the Commissionaire. As the protests violated the Covid protocol, police used force to disperse the protesters.
