Youth Congress local leader arrested for molesting a minor boy. Payyannur Constituency Secretary Sunish Thayathuwayal was arrested by the police in the POCSO case.
The boy’s parent lodged a complaint with the police alleging that the minor boy was sexually assaulted. The child’s behavior came to light when the parents inquired about the abnormality. The accused was taken into police custody on Monday night itself. The arrest was registered on Tuesday morning. The accused was produced in court and remanded.

Youth Congress Kannur District President Sudeep James has informed that Payyannur Youth Congress leader Sunish Thayathuwayal has been expelled from the primary membership of the organization.
