Starring Amith Chakkalakkal in the lead role, Yuvam was one of the first Malayalam films that released since the partial reopening of theatres this year. Directed by Pinku Peter, Yuvam was noted for its theme and was well received by the movie going public in Kerala. The movie also did reasonably well overseas as well. That said, makers have decided to release the movie on the OTT platform ‘Firstshows’.
As was informed by the makers, Yuvam is now available on the platform of Firstshows for people outside Kerala. That said, from March 19th onwards, the movie will also be made available for Malayalee audience as well. It must be mentioned right here that ‘Firstshows’ work not on subscription model basis; it has adopted a ‘Pay – Per – View’ model for watching the content.
