In a tribute to India’s nightingale, Lata Mangeshkar, 18 singers from the music industry will perform for the legendary singer. The singers include, Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Nitin Mukesh, Neeti Mohan, Alka Yagnik, Sadhana Sargam, Pyarelal Ji, Udit Narayan, Shaan, Kumar Sanu, Amit Kumar, Jatin Pandit, Javed Ali, Aishwarya Majumdar, Sneha Pant, Palak Muchhal and Anwesha who have collaborated with each other to pay tribute to the legendary singer.
They will be seen crooning Lata Mangeshkar’s iconic songs in Star Plus’ new show ‘ ‘Naam Reh Jaayega’. The show will air from May 1.
According to reports, the above mentioned singers will also share their memories and anecdotes from their meetings with Lata Mangeshkar. Her contribution to the Indian music industry in a career spanning seven decades gained her honorific titles such as the “Queen of Melody”, “Nightingale of India”, and “Voice of the Millennium”.
Mangeshkar died from multiple organ dysfunction syndrome on 6 February 2022, at the age of 92. She had undergone 28 days of constant treatment for pneumonia and COVID-19.
