Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Thiruvananthapuram has invited applications from eligible candidates for applying to its Ph.D programmes in various disciplines. It is on the following disciplines, which the institute is providing Ph.D degree – Biological/Chemical/Physical Sciences. The courses, which would start from January, 2018, require students to have Masters in the following subjects: Biological Science, Chemical Science, Physical Science, Mathematics, Bio Informatics, Agricultural Sciences, Veterinary Science. Candidates, who have obtained MBBS, too are eligible for the admission.
Students would also have to qualify national level tests, CSIR – UGC – JRF/DBT – JRF/ ICMR – JRF/valid GATE score (ranks within 90)/JGEEBILS. IISER mandates students to secure the qualification on or before January 1st, 2018.
