Google has launched Android Things 1.0. This latest android OS from Google, is meant for IoT devices. After announcing the concept way back in 2016, it has finally got a shape now. The latest outing from Google, has placed its focus on the security problems, which IoT devices face. Google has also announced giving three years’ update for every single Android Things – based product, for free.
A closed source informs that, Android Things comes with a centralized update system, while it is completely under the control of Google. The automatic update would be the default settings on such devices and users would receive monthly security updates as well.
