“At one point I had to go through a certain mental trauma. I had presented a show on a leading channel in Malayalam for about a year. The program was even past 200 episodes. There was also a cake room as part of it. It was a program that Bashir Ikka liked a lot. One day when I was about to come down for the presentation of that program, he called me and told me not to come.
This program was previously presented by another actress. I was told to stay away because they came back. When this was told to me suddenly one day, it caused me a lot of mental distress. After that, I was afraid to go to other events. Now it’s coming right. But I thought the producer could have told me that earlier” – says Anjana.
At the same time, one of the events where they came as presenters was the loudspeaker. It was a program discussing gossip in the film industry.
