The blackmailing case of Shamna Kasim seems to have multiple layers, as the investigating officials are all set to interrogate a film producer in connection with the case. Though not much is known about the involvement of the producer with the fraudsters, it is reported that the producer paid a visit to the house of Shamna Kasim soon after the incident took place. Going in line with the sources, the producer made his presence felt in the actress’s house on June 20th.
It is reported that the producer told Shamna’s family members that his visit was according to the instruction of Shamna Kasim. However, upon Shamna denying the statement, the producer is said to have left the house in hurry. In those times, Shamna was not in Kerala. In line with Shamna’s revelation, the investigating officials will soon interrogate the producer, whose name is yet to get divulged.
Earlier, actor Dharmajan Bolgatty too was questioned in connection with the case. The names of several other celebrities are being heard in association with the case, though none has officially been declared by the investigating officials. Soon after the incident, the public has started demanding a serious probe into the presence of mafia in Mollywood.
