The police had last week found that the screenshots of the highly controversial Boys’ Locker Room, screenshot of Snapchat group chats, had nothing to do with the arrests. Police found that girl was behind Snapchat’s obscene chats, and that the girl shared such messages with the Snapchat group under a boy’s fake ID. But the screenshots of chats sent from the fake Sidharth ID were kept by the boy and later he shared with the friends. The same screenshots were also sent to the girl who made the fake ID. But these screenshots were later promoted by some as the “Boys Locker Room” on Instagram.
The police team, who conducted a detailed investigation into the incident, recorded statements from the girl. The girl confessed to police that the chats were sent from her fake ID.
Meanwhile, the group admin was arrested several days ago in connection with the Boys Locker Room group chats on Instagram. A minor, a member of the group, was also taken into custody. Police have also identified other students who are members of the Instagram group. Police are responding to an investigation into the case.
