The noose is now tightening against the director Ranjith. Now a young man has come forward with a complaint that director Rajitha molested him. This young man met the director in Bangalore in 2012 after asking for an opportunity in the film. The young man complained that he was subjected to unnatural torture. The complaint has now been lodged by a young man from Kozhikode.
A special police team was formed to investigate complaints in the film industry. The young man gave a statement to them. The incident took place during the shooting of the film. It was there that he met the director. He was reaching the hotel room looking for an opportunity. Ranjith was giving his phone number on a tissue paper. Ranjith asked to send a message.
He was asked to reach the Taj Hotel in Bangalore in two days. Reached the hotel around 10 pm. The director suggested to reach the room through the back gate. Ranjith insisted on drinking alcohol when he reached the room. In an interview given to Asianet News, the young man said that later he was raped and tortured.
Meanwhile, director Prakash has now approached the High Court seeking anticipatory bail on the complaint of harassing a young female screenwriter. He also says in the petition that the complainant has a criminal background. The director informed the court that the complainant is an accused in the honey trap case and has made a complaint to the DGP and Special Investigation Team stating this matter.
