Moovatupuzha: There has been an outpouring of support from the film world in the death of about 20 cows reared by child farmers at Thodupuzha Velliamamat.
Actor Jayaram went to the children’s home and helped them. Jayaram Kutty gave the farmers the money set aside for the trailer launch of the new film Osler.
Jayaram, who came home with help, clarified that more help will come from the film industry. Jayaram stated that Mammootty promised to give 1 lakh Prithviraj to 2 lakh child farmers.
It is reported that both of them will hand over the money to the children this evening through a special messenger. Meanwhile, Jayaram came to the house of the child farmers in Thodupuzha Velliyamamat and handed over the child.
He said that he had experienced the same situation as his family, and the cows he reared had died in a similar manner. The pain of loss is great. Jayaram said that he and his wife cried the most when the cows died.
Cows died in mass at Velliamamatt in Thodupuzha district of Idukki last day. 13 cows of Kutti farmers George Kutti and Mathew died.
The cows died after eating a piece of cow dung. Mathew is the child who won the state award for the best child dairy farmer. Of the remaining 5 cows, the condition is critical.
This is one of the best dairy farms in Thodupuzha. This farm is run by two children aged 18 and 15. This farm has won many awards.
