Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara’ has left audiences in awe and the film continues to earn big at the box-office. The film has also highly impressed superstar Rajinikanth who had personally invited Rishab Shetty to honour him.
Now, Rajinikanth in a sweet gesture has gifted Rishab an expensive gold chain for his movie Kantara. He also called the film ‘once in 50 years’.
On October 26, Thalaiva watched the film and made sure to tweet about it. #KantaraMovie you gave me goosebumps,” wrote Rajinikanth further adding, “Rishab hats off to you as a writer, director and actor. Congrats to the whole cast and crew of this masterpiece in Indian cinema.”
Rishab Shetty met the veteran actor at the latter’s residence in Chennai, on October 29.

Kantara, which is written and directed by Rishab Shetty, is set in the backdrop of the Keraadi region of coastal Karnataka.
