During the past 24 hours, a total of 29,429 fresh cases were reported in India. The country has also registered 582 new deaths during the last 24 hours. With this, the pandemic has claimed a total of 24,309 lives from India so far. Till date, at total of 9,36,181 cases have been reported in India. The rate at which new cases are being added to India’s tally is quite alarming, however, the rate of recovery gives some positive figure. Last day, as was released by the Ministry of Health, the recovery rate in the country has crossed 63%.
Ministry of Health informs that the active cases in India stands at 3,19,840, whereas a total of 5,92,032 got cured/discharged/migrated. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Delhi continue to lead India’s Corona chart. ICMR statistics show that India has tested a total of 1,24,12,664 samples till day, with country testing a 3,20,161 samples last day.
