ICMR has reported that India marked 18,552 new covid cases during the past 24 hours. With 418 more death tolls during the last 24 hours, the pandemic, so far, has claimed 16,893 lives from India. The total number of Covid positive cases in India stands at 5,66,840. The total number of active cases in India stands at 2,15,125, whereas 3,34,822 have recovered from Covid 19.
ICMS statistics show that the country has managed to test 86,08,654 samples so far. In the past 24 hours, India tested 2,10,292 samples. India’s registered an increase in its positivity rate ration, with a figure standing at 8.80 per cent. Maharashtra leads India’s Covid chart, and has over 1.69 lakh Covid patients in its account. The state is followed by Delhi and Tamil Nadu.
