Actor Kamal Haasan is the latest recipient of Tamil actors who received the UAE’s golden visa. Kamal Haasan met Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, the Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and also met the Highness Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the cabinet member of the Minister of Tolerance and co-existence of the United Arab Emirates at the palace.
Apart from Kamal Haasan, R Parthiepan, Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Mohanlal, Mamooty, Tovino Thomas, Dulquer Salmaan, Prithviraj, Amala Paul and Venkat Prabhu are a few among the others to receive the UAE golden visa.
According to reports, Kamal Haasan was one of the first choices recommended by the UAE administration to receive the golden visa when introduced in 2019. But due to the pandemic and other political and professional reasons, the actor was not able to receive it.
