Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) cancels 1000 services due to COVID19: Thousands of services were canceled by KSRTC yesterday due to lack of passengers. There were only 3580 services yesterday. KSRTC, which had at least 23 lakh passengers daily till last week, managed only 17.57 lakh passengers on the 18th.
Of the 48 services to Bengaluru, only 21 are present. Karnataka RTC has canceled the cancellation charge for those who cancel their tickets till 31st of this month. Chil buses, which operated for 15 minutes, sped off for more than half an hour yesterday. KSRTC has said it will operate services in all major areas and will not completely cancel inter-state services. The carts are lined up with a sanitizer.
