Land Rover has unveiled the limited edition of Defender Works V8 as a mark of celebrating the company’s 70th anniversary. Homage to the high powered engines from Defender Series III onwards, the Defender Works V8 has got only 150 units. Priced at EU 150,000, the new Land Rover Defender Works V8 will be available in ‘short’ and ‘long’ wheelbase guises.
Produced by the company’s Land Rover Classic division, the Defender has got a 5.0 liter V8 engine. The engine produces 400bhp and a peak torque of 515Nm. Taking 5.6 seconds to reach from 0 – 100kmph, the Defender Works V8 clocks a top speed of 170kmph.
