Adu Jeeweetham is one of the movies that became the pride of Malayalam. This is one of the best Malayalam novels of all time. The film adaptation of this novel is the movie of the same name. The movie was directed by Blessy. Prithviraj played the central character Najeeb in the film.
Now the theatrical run of the movie is almost over. Now director Blassy is making some serious allegations regarding the shooting of the film. The shooting of the film was planned in Oman. But the director now says that this did not happen because of the vested interest of some people.
The first decision to shoot a part of the film was in Oman. But some people took the initiative to stop it. The director is now saying that they also tried not to screen the film there. He told the media at the Oman Film Society in Muscat.
“They said that the reason for screening the film is that the book on which the film is based has been banned there. Apart from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, we have received permission to exhibit goat life in all other GCC countries. The film will be released there soon” – says Blessi.
Meanwhile, the movie is getting ready for online release. The film will release on May 10. The film will be released through Hotstar. The movie entered the 150 crore club in just 25 days. The movie is a survival thriller.
