The most anticipated film of Megastar Mammootty, ‘CBI 5 – The Brain’, is taken to a global level. In a big announcement, the actor said that the 5th installment of the CBI franchise will have its promo trailer played on the iconic Burj Khalifa, Dubai.
Mammootty took to social media on Wednesday to share the good news and wrote, “Happy to Announce that the Super Sleuth SETHURAMA IYER Will take charge in Utmost Grandeur as our 5th installment of the Franchise, CBI 5 – The Brain will have its Promo trailer played on the Iconic Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Those of you in Dubai can Witness the Light up promo on 29th April , between 8.30 pm and 9 pm. (GST)”.

Just three days ahead of the release, CBI 5 is reaching out to people worldwide. The trio Mammootty, Mukesh and Jagathy Sreekumar’s appearance has already excited the fans, which takes them back to the old memories of the CBI series. The iconic background score in the trailer gives an adrenaline rush to the audience.
Mammootty is reprising the role of Sethurama Iyer, the CBI officer, while Mukesh and Jagathy are reprising their roles of Chacko and Vikram respectively in ‘CBI 5: The Brain’. The film also marks the comeback of actor Jagathy Sreekumar after a while. The film is directed by K Madhu and written by SN Swamy.
The film also has an ensembled cast of Renji Panicker, Sai Kumar, Soubin Shahir, Ramesh Pisharody, Anoop Menon, Dileesh Pothen, Ravi Kumar, Harish Raju, Edavela Babu, Sudev Nair, Prasanth, Alexander, Ramesh Kottayam, Jayakrishnan, Prathap Pothen, Suresh Kumar, Chandhu Karamana, Azees Nedumangad, Santhosh Keezhattur, Asha Sarath, Kaniha, Ansiba, Malavika Menon, Malavika Nair and Swasika in supporting roles.
