Kerala has clocked the figure of 62 positive Covid cases today. Disclosed by the Chief Minister at the Covid press conference, it was informed that the state has managed to get 10 Covid negative results. Of those affected, 33 came from foreign countries, while 23 from other states. 1 got infected through contact. Apart from that, 2 jail inmates, 1 health worker, and 2 Air India cabin crew members were detected Covid positive today. The number of Covid positive cases from different districts is as follows,

Thrissur – 6
Pathanamthitta – 6
Thiruvananthapuram – 5
Malappuram – 5
Ernakulam – 4
Kasaragod – 4
Alappuzha – 3
Kollam – 2
Wayanad – 2
Kozhikode – 1
Idukki – 1
Kottayam – 1
Out of the infected persons from other states, the figures are as follows: Tamil Nadu-10, Maharashtra-10, Karnataka-1, Delhi-1 and Punjab-1. As far as negative cases are concerned with, the figures are as follows: Wayanad 5, Kozhikode 2, Kannur-1 Malappuram-1 and Kasaragod-1. With this the total number of Covid patients in the state has increased to 1150. 577 people are currently undergoing treatment.
