A minor girl who went missing from Kuruvangat has been found in Madivala, Karnataka. Young director Kuruvangad Kelambath JasikAli (36) and his friend Eranjikal Mannarkandi Al Irfathil Shamnad (33), were taken into custody by the Koyilandy police.
According to the complaint filed by the family, accused kidnapped the girl by promising role in the film. First, the police reached Gundalpeta in search of the three. But by the time the officers arrived, the accused had already escaped with the girl.
Their car number plate was changed and mobile phone was switched off. The police examined the CCTV of the hotel where the accused were staying. Further investigation revealed that they went to Mysuru and from there to Bengaluru. Finally, they were found in an investigation based on the phone number of the driver.
Inspector N. Sunilkumar and S.I. VR Aravind, senior civil police officers O.K. Suresh, Vineesh, Women Civil Police Officer Vs. Mavya were in the investigation team.
