Malaikota Valiban is the much awaited movie of Malayalam movie lovers this year. As a Lijo Jose Pellissery-Mohanlal film, the fans had high hopes on the film.
But the film received mixed response after its release. Also some people are spreading negative reviews on social media. Now the words of director Kamal in response to the negative comments of ‘Malaikottai Valiban’ are getting attention.
Kamal responded by saying that he never once heard director Lijo say that Malaikottai Valiban was a mass film and that Mohanlal’s fans and others were treating it as such.
Kamal said that Mohanlal is seen as a mass hero and even when Mammootty was doing mass films, the audience never saw him like that. Kamal’s words were in an interview given to a media.
Other people and fans have said that Malaikottai Valiban is a mass movie and Mohanlal’s great movie.
But Lijo didn’t mean it that way, and I never heard him say that anywhere. Kamal says that the title Malaikottai Valiban has made such an impression on the audience.
Mohanlal is seen as a mass hero. Even when Mammootty was doing mass films, he was never seen like that. Kamal added that it has been the practice since time immemorial.
