Apart from Suresh Kumar, Priya Ajayan, who was the chairman of Palakkad municipality, was also included in the state committee. Actress Menaka is wife of Suresh Kumar.
Suresh Kumar is the father of Keerthy, one of the troubled actresses of South India, and Revathi is the other daughter.
Meanwhile, film director and actor Major Ravi and film actor Devan were elected as BJP state vice-presidents the other day.
Devan joined the BJP by merging his own party, the Kerala People’s Party. BJP president K. Devan’s entry into the BJP was at the closing stage of the Vijay Yatra led by Surendran.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah accepted Devan into the BJP. But Bheeman Raghu and director Rajasena, who were earlier BJP activists, left the party and joined CPM.
